PPC Section 316: Punishment for Qatl shibh-i-amd:

Whoever commits qatl shibh-i-amd shall be liable to diyat and may also be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to [twenty-five years] years as ta'zir.

Offence	Cognizance	Summons / Warrant	Bailable / Not Bailable	Compoundable or Not	Punishment	Triable By
Qatl Shibh-i-amd.	Shall not arrest without warrant.	Warrant ..	Not bailable	Compoundable	Diyat, and impriosnment of either description for fourteen years.	Court of Session
