PPC Section 337-F:    Punishment of ghayr-jaifah:

Whoever by doing any act with the intention of causing hurt to any person, or with the knowledge that he is likely to cause hurt to any person, causes:-

(i) damihah to any person, shall be liable to daman and may also be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one year as ta'zir;
(ii) badi'ah to any person, shall be liable to daman and may also be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years as ta'zir;
(iii) mutafahimah to any person, shall be liable to daman and may also be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years as ta'zir;
(iv) mudihah to any person, shall be liable to daman and may also be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to five years as ta'zir;
(v) hashimah to any person, shall be liable to daman and may also be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to five years as ta'zir, and
(vi) munaqqilah to any person, shall be liable to daman and may also be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years as ta'zir.

Offence Cognizance Summons/-Warrant Bailable/-NotBailable Punishment Triable By
Damiyah. Shall not arrest without warrant. Summons .. Bailable.. Daman, and imprisonment of either description for one years. Magistrate of the first class.
Badi`ah May arrest Without warrant. Warrant .. Not bailable. Daman, and imprisonment of either description for three years. Ditto
Mutalahimah. Ditto Ditto Ditto Daman, and imprisonment of either description for three years. Court of Session or Magistrate of first class.
Mudihah. Ditto Ditto Ditto Daman, and imprisonment of either description for five years Court of Session or Magistrate of first class.
Hashimah. May arrest without warrant Warrant Not bailable Daman, and imprisonment of either description for five years. Court of Session or Magistrate of first class.
Munaqqilah. Ditto Ditto Ditto Daman, and imprisonment of either description for seven years. Ditto
Offence: Bailable.. --- Damiyah.
Punishment--- Daman, and imprisonment of either description for one years.
Accused ★ POLICE Police Officer
Offence: Not bailable. --- Badi`ah
Punishment--- Daman, and imprisonment of either description for three years.
Accused ★ POLICE Police Officer
Offence: Ditto --- Mutalahimah.
Punishment--- Daman, and imprisonment of either description for three years.
Accused ★ POLICE Police Officer
Offence: Ditto --- Mudihah.
Punishment--- Daman, and imprisonment of either description for five years
Accused ★ POLICE Police Officer
Offence: Not bailable --- Hashimah.
Punishment--- Daman, and imprisonment of either description for five years.
