PPC Section 289: Negligent conduct with respect to animal:

Whoever, knowingly or negligently omits to take such order with any animal in his possession as is sufficient to guard against any probable danger to human life, or any probable danger of grievous hurt from such animal, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to [three thousand rupees] , or with both.

A person omitting to take order with any animal in his possession, so as to guard against danger to human life, or of grievous hurt, from such animal.	May arrest without warrant.	Summons .. Offence: Bailable.. --- A person omitting to take order with any animal in his possession, so as to guard against danger to human life, or of grievous hurt, from such animal.

Punishment--- Imprisonment of either description for 6 months, or fine of [3,000] rupees, or both.
