PPC Section 273:  Sale of noxious food or drink:

Whoever sells, or offers or exposes for sale, as food or drink, any article which has been rendered or has become noxious, or is in a state unfit for food or drink, knowing or haying reason to believe that the same is noxious as food or drink, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to six months, of with fine which may extend to  [three thousand rupees], or with both.

Offence Cognizance Summons/-Warrant Bailable/-NotBailable Punishment Triable By
Selling any food or drink as food and drink, knowing the same to be noxious Shall not arrest without warrant. Summons .. Bailable.. Imprisonment of either description for 6 months, or fine or [3,000] rupees, or both. Magistrate of the first or second class.
Offence: Bailable.. --- Selling any food or drink as food and drink, knowing the same to be noxious
Punishment--- Imprisonment of either description for 6 months, or fine or [3,000] rupees, or both.
