CPC Section 33

Judgment and decree.

The Court, after the case has been heard, shall pronounce judgment, and on such judgment [----] a decree shall follow.

Explanation of CPC Section 33

--------- As per Amendment in Punjab
For section 33, the following shall be substituted:

Judgment and decree. The Court, after the case has been heard, shall pronounce judgment maximum within fifteen days and on such judgment a decree shall follow simultaneously.
Punjab Act, 14 of 2018, S. 8  (w.e.f. 20-03-2018)

 

--------- As per Amendment in Islamabad 
In section 33, after the word "judgment", the words "within ninety days of the final hearing" shall be inserted.
Act 7 of 2020, S. 8 
The words "within ninety days of the final hearing" shall be omitted.
Act 19 of 2023, S. 7 

 

--------- As per Amendment in KPK 
In section 33, after the word "judgment", the words "within ninety days of the final hearing" shall be inserted.
KPK Act 49 of 2020, S. 9 

 

--------- As per Amendment in  Balochistan 
In the said Code, for section 33, the following shall be substituted:

Judgment and decree. The Court, after the case has been heard, shall pronounce judgment maximum within fifteen days; and on such judgment a decree shall follow simultaneously.
Balochistan Act, 13 of 2019, S.
