my business partner give me a cheque but when i submit the cheque in bank its give message of insufficient funds what remedy can i avail

ASSALAM-0-ALAIKUM, Lodge an F.I.R against your partner Under Section 489-F Pakistan Penal Code. This offence is punishable by 3 Years or/and with fine. If police refuse to lodge an F.I.R. than, make an application Under Section 22A & B to Justice Of Peace/ District Judge against the S.H.O. of the concerned Police Station and plea the court to direct him to lodge you F.I.R. (It is a common practice). First, write an application to the concerned S.H.O & S.P as well and take its receiving from them because that copy would be attached with the Application of 22 A & B. Hire a good Criminal Lawyer who deals with these types of cases. Remember, F.I.R. cannot be lodged againt Guarantee Cheque.
